Final Destination [CD]

The prophet Muhammad (sallAllaahu alayhi wasallam) said; "No one enters paradise except that he is shown his seat in the fire, so that he may be further thankful. And no one enters the fire except that he is shown his seat in paradise, so that he may be further agonized." [Al-Bukhari & Ahmad] There is neither a human nor jinn except that he/she has two seats, one in Jannah (Paradise) and the other Jahannam (Hellfire). When all is said on done, this is all it comes down to. In this lecture, Shaykh Kamal El-Mekki draws for us images of these two seats. First he discusses the Hellfire and it's torments of food, drink, clothing, and relentless punishment. Also, he reminds us of the promised gardens beneath which rivers flow, where there is neither pain nor grief, where nothing is forbidden nor depleting… where the believers will see their lord!
